Now a Fujifilm X-A10?

The Fujifilm X-A3 isn’t available yet and it might not be the only new X-A series camera we see this year. These inexpensive X-series cameras are extremely popular  in Asia and it makes sense for Fujifilm to expand their entry level options to attract new users to the system, but I wish the Fujifilm X-A3 would have started shipping before the details of this camera surfaced. People in this segment might end up confused if the X-A3 and X-A10 are too similar. It’s likely there will be a more formal announcement in the near future so check back over the coming weeks for more details.

Fujifilm PhotoPlus Expo 2016 Coverage

The Camera Project caught up with Billy of the Fuji Guys at the Fujifilm booth at PhotoPlus and asked him some questions about the new Fujifilm GFX 50s. Cameta Camera also visited the Fujifilm booth to check out the GFX 50S, 23mm f2, Instax SP-2 and EF-X500. It’s a little disappointing that Fujifilm didn’t release more information at PhotoPlus about the GFX, but the Fujifilm X-T2 is still selling strongly, so there isn’t really a rush to get the Fujifilm GFX 50S out. Amateur Photographer Fujifilm GFX Interview

Theo Georghiades, General Manager Electronic Imaging Fujifilm UK, is interviewed by Amateur Photographer about the new Fujifilm GFX. At the end of the interview he makes it sound like Fujifilm might have experimented with larger X-trans sensors like the one in the GFX, “When we have done tests at larger sensor sizes, actually, the benefits are less and less.” Maybe we will see a future X-trans GFX like the X100, which started with a normal bayar sensor.
