The Fujifilm X100VI and X-T5 have experienced shortages for months now, but both have shown up on MAP Camera’s sales ranking again. You can find the rankings and their statements below:
The FUJIFILM X100VI, which debuted at number one despite causing some upsets (?) when it was released at the end of March, has returned to the top spot. Although the manufacturer announced the release, the release date and reservation start date remained undecided, and we received many inquiries during that time. After that, reservations were opened, but the planned number of reservations was quickly exceeded, and reservations were stopped after that. The release began on March 28th, and the first shipment was quickly sold out, resulting in a large lead over the second place and below in the March ranking. However, the manufacturer stopped supplying it, and it disappeared from the ranking in April. In May, we received a large shipment of both silver and black, and we were finally able to distribute it to those who reserved it but were unable to receive it on the release date.
…Even after explaining this much, you can see that this new product launch is an unprecedented case. And, new pre-orders are still suspended… We have no idea what will happen next.
The performance of the new model has been introduced in a variety of content, whetting the desire of those eager to get their hands on it, but when will we actually be able to get our hands on it? First of all, we can only hope for an announcement from the manufacturer when pre-orders will resume
