Fujifilm X-T4 vs Nikon Z6 With Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM II

Fringer released a video comparing the performance of the Fujifilm X-T4 with the Nikon Z6 using Fringer adapters and the Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM II With Face/Eye AF-C. Below are the configurations and results

Nikon
Nikon Z6 FW 3.0 + Fringer EF-NZ FW1.60 + Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM II
Continuous shooting H+ Mechanical Shutter 20/25 in focus

Conclusion

  1. When adapting EF300/2.8L IS II through finger adapter both Z6 and X-T4 perform well.
  2. In still mode, focus tracking of X-T4 is better
    – much higher actual frame rate (14 vs 9.9)
    -Slightly higher hit rate (88% vs 80%)
  3. In movie mode, both cameras track face/eye very well
