Fujicast Fujifilm X-H2/X-T4 and More – With Marketing Manager Andreas Georghiades Again

Last time Fujicast had Andreas Georghiades on at the house of photographer for their anniversary episode at the Fujifilm House of Photography. This time Andreas Georghiades talks about X-T4 and X-H2. This is a lengthy podcast at 1hr 23min in length and Andreas doesn’t show up until 1:06:56, but I would recommend starting at 56:11 to hear about their experience with the X-T4.     • The X-T4 should bash the door down hard on a7III users, due to how good AF performance is now, also the mechanical shutter is very quiet and can shoot 15fps quietly, along with great IBIS make the X-T4 the ultimate solution

Fujifilm X-T200 Labeling Error Reported

The Fujifilm X-T200 launch has had bumps along the way, but the most recent one is a bit odd to do with the printing on the box.

Fujifilm X Academy Courses Canceled Until March 31st

Courses will be canceled until March 31 to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infections.
Academy X has announced that it will cancel the course scheduled for March 1 (Sun)-March 15 (Sun) on February 27 to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection. In light of the spread of the infection, we decided to cancel the course until March 31 (Tuesday).
The reopening date is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, but we will make a careful judgment in light of the future situation.

Everything you need to know for video

  1. X-T3 is still a great camera and if it does everything you need then you can get it at an even better price
  2. X-T4 240p slow motion
  3. Record to both cards at once
  4. F-Log view assist so you don’t have to look at washed-out footage
  5. Movie optimized control lets you use the back screen or buttons
  6. Movie mode lets you optimize your video settings and keep them separate from photo settings
  7. Improved video AF that you can trust
  8. Very fast AF from close to far in video
  9. Decent demo of the different film simulations including Eterna Bleach Bypass
  10. Eterna Bleach Bypass is heavy-handed and very 300 the movie looking for high contrast with flat skin tones
  11. ISO works in 1/3 steps and it is improved in the X-T4 because it is much faster
  12. Digital stabilization isn’t great on any camera except the GoPro but he did testing in the video
  13. 240p actually looks very good and is one of the fastest modes avalible
  14. IBIS won’t replace a gimbal but it will give you that handheld TV look
  15. If you use digital stabilization you get more warble with wide lenses or complicated backgrounds
  16. Best to just use IBIS+OIS
  17. Digital stabilization requires about a 1.18 crop
  18. 4k60p can go up to 1.29 crop if you are using digital image stabilization which isn’t bad compared to others and you mainly notice it with wide glass
  19. Internal recording under 30p is limit of just under 30min of recording time
  20. 4k60p is limited to a 20min clip internally
