Amazon, B&H Photo, Adorama have all started shipping cameras.
If you order from B&H Photo you can add the XF 35 F2 and save $100 by clicking on ESSENTIAL KITS. I highly recommend this lens. It is one of my favorites at the moment.

The Fujifilm X-Pro 2 launch on March 3rd is now imminent. Further Fuji reaffirmed this date just the other day in their announcement of the iF Design Award win and B&H Photo, Amazon, Adorama agree too. So I am certain this date is firm.
It will be interesting to see if the long exposure issue remains an issue on the cameras being shipped to consumers in a few days. I’ll be looking for it in my review. Currently I own the XF18-55 F2.8-4, XF27 F2.8, XF35 F2, XF56 F1.2 and have the XF100-400 F4.5-5.6 for review. I might pick up one more lens during my review period, so if there is anything you would like to see me test on my X-Pro 2 drop me a comment or E-mail, whichever you are more comfortable with.
If you would like to read the manual in advance you can read it here or download it here.
Also, If you’re like me and have an X-Pro 2 coming in the mail soon then it’s worth mentioning the Big Fuji Sale is still happening and it’s always nice to have a new lens or two too shoot with a new body so take advantage while you can.

On the eve of the X-Pro 2 launch I have been receiving a lot of questions about the X-T2 that are worth addressing. To begin with, I do not think Fuji will announce the release date of this camera until X-Pro 2 sales start to slow. It seems pretty clear that Fuji is doing additional differentiation this generation that they did not do last generation. This might make some Fuji fans upset, but last generation we saw a mass exodus of users from the X-Pro 1 to the X-E1 when it was announced due to its increased performance. Fuji might be trying to avoid this with their second generation sensor technology. The X-Processor Pro engine will likely be reserved for the X-Pro 2 and X-T2 if this is the case. Read More

Today Fujifilm announced they are ending production of FP-100C film. If you have any desire to stock up on this film it is still available at Amazon, B&H Photo and Adorama. Maybe when supplies are sufficiently exhausted and expired a company like the IMPOSSIBLE Project will start producing some.
If you would like to check out some work done with FP-100C check out 500px. Some of the photos have a great look to them, but keep in mind some will be NSFW due to their instant print nature.
Five Fujifilm products just won the internationally prestigious “iF Design Award”. Further in this announcement there is FIRM verification that the Fuji X-Pro 2 will be released on March 3rd so, hopefully, there will not be anymore delays. Congratulations Fuji!
Press Release:
FUJIFILM Corporation (President: Shigehiro Nakajima) has been awarded the distinguished “iF Design Award 2016”, for five of its products, including the premium mirrorless digital camera “FUJIFILM X-Pro2” and the broadcast zoom lens “FUJINON UA80x9,” which boasts optical performance compatible with 4K cameras.
The iF Design Award is an international design award launched in 1953 by the iF International Forum Design in Hanover, Germany. It is one of the world’s three most prestigious design awards, alongside Germany’s “Red Dot Design Award” and the United States’ “IDEA.” The five products were awarded in recognition of not only exterior design, but also their advanced product performance and ease of use.
Fujifilm is proud to have five of its products chosen for the iF Design Award out of a large number of entries submitted from across the world, and will continue to achieve excellence in product development.

Fuji released a great demonstration of how affective their O.I.S. system is in the new XF100-400 that’s worth giving a look. The results are impressive and mirror my experience with this lens.
