Viltrox 75mm f/1.2 and 35mm, 50mm, 75mm T2.0 Cine Lenses Shown at Film and Television Industry Event

The other day we share Viltrox’s teaser that an f/1.2 lens would be announced this weekend. Today Viltrox announced the Viltrox AF 75mm f/1.2 PRO XF lens alongside 35mm T2.0, 50mm T2.0, and 75mm T2.0 1.33x anamorphic Full Frame cinema lenses. The photos are all over Weibo, starting with Viltrox’s page (1, 2, 3, 4, 5). These lenses should ship in the 4th quarter.

DPR: Fujifilm X-H2S Receives Gold Award – A New Standard Within The X System

DPR posted its final review of the Fujifilm X-H2S, which you can read in full here, and the camera has received a gold award. The Fujifilm X-T4 also received a gold award with an overall score of 88%. It looks like Fujifilm is catching or surpassing the competition in a lot of areas, but the high frame rate AF still needs some work, which could be greatly improved via firmware updates in the future.

It’s interesting that DPR praised the command dial and also said it will not be for everyone, which pretty much sums up the controversy over Fujifilm going with a command dial. I hope the Fujifilm X-T5 doesn’t disappoint.

AstrHori 75mm f/4 For GFX Available and More Lenses Coming Soon!

Astrhori is a new brand that is moving very quickly, and GFX can use more affordable glass like the AstrHori 75mm f/4 for GFX. They have a lot of interesting designs, and I can’t wait to see what additional lenses they will release for GFX in the future. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Matsumoto) announced that it would be difficult to procure some of the raw materials used in the production of its long-time favorite Inkjet Paper Kasai Photo Finish Pro. As a result, we have no choice but to terminate our shipment of the target product.
