Fujifilm X-H1 And ShotOnXSeries.com Probably Related

Fujifilm registered ShotOnXSeries.com 07-13-2017 and hasn’t really used it much until today, just days after we broke the Fujifilm X-H1 for everyone to see and copy. Fujifilm has only used this domain in one tweet previously here. It looks like they are getting ready to push into video in a big way, but the domain currently redirects to a YouTube playlist. This could easily change to an actual marketing campaign website in the near future featuring videos filmed on the Fujifilm X-H1 and X-T2 with MK lenses. February 2018 isn’t very far away so there should be signs of what Fujifilm is up to all around the web now that we know what to look for. Flagship cameras like the Fujifilm X-H1 generally have big marketing campaigns.

I know other sites are tempted to just part out the specs leaked here first for SOE and to appear first, but there are actual new details to be found. The Fujifilm X-H1 should be an incredible video-centric camera if the Fujifilm X-T2 is any indication. There is even a chance that some of the videos on YouTube and Vimeo today have been filmed with the X-H1 since we know that X Photographers have the camera in hand today.

Godox released two firmware updates yesterday while FujiAddict was breaking all the new rumors for you guys to digest. Godox has really stepped up their Fujifilm flash support this year and there are still lots of deals to be had on their lighting.

“FinePix XP130” which seems to be the successor to Fujifilm’s waterproof console XP 120 was registered for Bluetooth authentication. It seems that Bluetooth is newly added in the new model.

ONE MORE THING! Additional Fujifilm GFX 50R and Fujifilm GFX 100S Information Plus Roadmap Update!

The conversation with my source earlier didn’t end with my post and I wanted to get breaking information out to readers ASAP, because others have been copying my leaks and claiming ownership of them, sometimes within minutes of posting them. So now I can confirm a few things. The GFX R will be 50MP in 2018 and it will be followed by the GFX 100S in 2019/2020. The Fujifilm GFX 100S will be “expensive”, but this probably means it will retain the $6,499 price point of the previous camera, while the 50MP cameras will have a lower price point. I very much believe that Fujifilm plans to use the GFX to knock out high-end full frame cameras, which can be seen by the lens roadmap.

The lens roadmap that I reported a few months ago should start being announced after the 250mm begins shipping starting with the 80-180mm lens. Beyond the roadmap, the release schedule is unclear, but Fujifilm intends to release 25-30 GFX lenses within the next 5 years, which is incredible! The only reason to release this many lenses at this pace is if they expect their medium format system to perform more like a tradition camera system, similar to the X-system.

I included a few quotes from our conversation below for you to interpret.

GFX R ( I liked the name) will have 50 MP sensor. I can not give a date

after  announcement and shipping of GFX 50R , GFX 100s may come at 2019 the price will be very expensive (When I get clear information, I’ll write)

after GFX 250 mm lens, fujifilm will announce telephoto GFX lens and probably will be 80-180mm ( I wrote before)

there is no modification about GFX lens road map as I wrote before, announcement date of them is unclear. I think, They announce one by one until the end of the 2018. ( Their target is to have 25-30 GFX Lenses within 5 years)

Fujifilm GFX R Announcement Coming in 2018

The one more thing is that Fujifilm will be releasing an interchangeable big brother to the Fujifilm X-Pro in 2018. If we go with Fujifilm’s naming convention they will call it the Fujifilm GFX R and it will be announced and/or shipping at Photokina 2018. You can read the tip below along with the price, which is expected to be between $3,900 to $4,300.

The last news is the big one;

Announcement or shipping ( which one is not clear ) will be at  Photokina 2018

Body Price will be between 3900$ and 4300$

This source has been 100% accurate in the past and now the Fujifilm GFX deals make more sense. It’s highly likely this camera will have the 50MP sensor found in the current GFX, but it hasn’t been confirmed yet. The lower price point makes the GFX R more accessible to photographers looking to get into medium format and could hint at a GFX S price drop to come (maybe permanently adopting the sale price). Fujifilm X-H1 (H is for Hybrid), X-F10, and X-T100

Now the Fujifilm X-H1 makes a lot more sense to me and hopefully, it will make more sense to you too. Here is the info I received almost exactly word for word. This source broke everything about the GFX and the XF80 here first, which was copied by everyone else reporting rumors so they are very on point, whether sites cited me or not…

X-H1 will be shipped at February 2018

There is a exposure compensation button instead of exposure compensation Dial (like GFX50)

There is Sub Monochrome LCD Monitor,   displays main settings  (like GFX50s)

X-H1 have much bigger and deeper hand grip, so size of X-H1 will be  between X-T2 and GFX50s.

X-H will have different processor, very fast

Right now, some X photographers are testing X-H1 camera

İt will be dust and weather-resistant body too. As Everybody knows, İt is a IBIS camera.

İt is a camera for both videographers and photographers. Fujifilm says “ both of videographers and photographers will be satisfied”

İt is a Hybrid Camera

And price there will be between 1900$ and 2200$

So it looks like Fujifilm is going to produce a more professional video-centric camera to compete with the a7/GH5, which is good news for fans. Also, the inclusion of a faster processor probably means that the camera will do 4k 60p in camera along with including some form of 6k photo mode. Maybe we will also get internal log and 4:2:2 like the GH5. We can only hope the X-H knocks out cameras like the GH5, but what about the GH5s?

For all those wondering about the X80 it looks like the XF10 will replace the X70, but you can read the information below. Also, the X-T100 is apparently coming out the first quarter of 2018 with a new XC 15-45 kit lens. We haven’t heard much about the X-T100, but this is the first credible rumor I have come across and you can read the text below.

A new camera is coming instead of X70 camera but the name of camera will not be X80.  İt may be called XF10 ( it is not clear) or even X10F for first.

New camera probably (not exact) will be with bayer sensor. ( shipping may be  first quarter of 2018).(when I get more information,I write)

XT-100 camera also is coming with new XC 15-45mm kit lens (no information about shipping date.  İn my opinion, it will be first Quarter of 2018)
