Fujifilm GFX100S Save $800:

Fujifilm held an event where they announced that they want to make the entry-level GFX100 camera even more affordable so they will be reducing the price by 10,000 RMB on October 23rd. The GFX100S’ price will be reduced from 39,800 to 29,900 RMB, which is a reduction of $5441.84 to $4088.22 USD. They also intend to refund buyers from September to October 22nd according to the report on Weibo.
There is no guarantee that these price adjustments will come to the United States since they were announced in China, but if they do then I would have to imagine that the GFX50SII price could be impacted too. We could also see the current savings of $800 for the GFX100S just become the standard price for the camera going forward we will have to wait and see how the price adjustment in China impacts global prices.
