Fujifilm GFX Firmware 3.00 Released + H MOUNT ADAPTER G Firmware 1.10

Fujifilm GFX 50S Firmware 3.00 Features

  1. Addition of “Focus Bracketing”
    The update will enable the photographer to shoot focus distance bracketing up to 999 frames. When the photographer start shooting, the focal location is shifted with each activation of the shutter by the step of focus shift set from 1 to 10.
  2. Addition of “35mm Format Mode”
    The update will enable the photographer to shoot central 36.0mm x 24.0mm (30.5M) cropped images as both JPEG and RAW files. When using 35mm format adapters, it will be easier to adjust the image size to 35mm format image circle lenses by changing the setting.
  3. “H MOUNT ADAPTER G” new firmware
    The firmware update will expand the compatibility for the “H MOUNT ADAPTER G” accessory.

FUJIFILM Corporation (President: Kenji Sukeno) is proud to announce that it has been awarded the “iF Design Award 2018”, sponsored by the international design promotion organization iF International Forum Design (Hanover, Germany), for 10 of its products including the 3D image analysis system “SYNAPSE VINCENT” 3D image analysis system, the hybrid instant camera “instax SQUARE SQ10”, ultrasonic processor, and broadcast lenses. The award is organized by the iF International Forum Design in Hanover, Germany, an international organization for design promotion.
The iF Design Award is a prestigious international design award launched in 1953, and is considered one of the top three global design awards, alongside Germany’s “Red Dot Design Award” and the United States’ “IDEA”. This year, there were 6,401 entries from 54 countries and regions judged by 63 experts.

In developing all of its products and services, Fujifilm not only pursues functionality and performance of its products, but also engages in design development that leverages its superior functionality. In addition to creating beautiful external designs, Fujifilm is working to create new product value by developing designs that realize simple and comfortable operability and portability.

Fujifilm X-A5 Suono Cloth Case by Fabric Life Co., Ltd.

Fabric Life Co., Ltd. released the Suono brand “FUJIFILM X-A5 Case – For Lens Kit” on March 12. The suggested retail price is 5,395 yen including tax.

A case that can be stored with Fujifilm’s mirrorless camera “X-A5” fitted with the standard zoom lens “XC 15-45 mm F 3.5-5.6 OIS PZ” of the kit.


Outer fabric No. 8 canvas, lining fabric stripe pattern print fabric. Black · Carbon stripe, Black · Bordeaux stripe, Cocoa, Navy line up.

In addition, as a variation, the type with the eyelet hole in the lid part (with carabiner) is also available at 5,719 yen including tax. You can connect the case and the camera by passing the camera strap through the carabiner.

Fujifilm GFX 50S Roundup: Fuji GFX 50S vs Hasselblad X1D-50c, Lens Reviews, Editorials, And More

The Fujifilm GFX 50S is a great camera with great glass and anyone that has ever handled on is left wanting one. This is very typical of medium format cameras, but the system has been around a while now and adoption seems to be going quite well. Some photographers demand additional AF performance, but it is not really necessary especially when you compare it to similar cameras like the Hasselblad X1D. Future GFX cameras like the Fujifilm GFX 100S will likely be even faster, but for now, the Fujifilm GFX 50S is snappy enough and maybe we will see a little more AF performance out of the Fujifilm GFX 50R that is expected later this year.
