DPRTV: Instant Film Shoot Out Fujifilm Instax SQ6 & Mini 90, Leica Sofort, Mint Instaflex TL70

Instax is incredibly popular and the guys at DPRTV decided to throw a bit of an Instax party to cover a few popular options. Their shootout between the Fujifilm Instax SQ6 & Mini 90, Leica Sofort, and Mint Instaflex TL70 is a brief one, but the take away is that Instax cameras are far from perfect. Probably the least buggy Instax camera of them all right now is the Leica Sofort.

Venus Optics Laowa 9mm f/2.8 ZERO-D Reviews and More

I really like the Venus Optics Laowa 9mm f/2.8 ZERO-D on my Fujifilm X-T2 and even on the X-H1, but it’s a great lens for any camera in Fujifilm’s lineup. It would be great to get out and shoot some astrophotography with the ultra-wide 9mm Laowa, but the weather has been bad around the past few new moons. The construction of the Laowa 9mm and it’s lightweight build makes it very easy to carry around in your camera bag or even pocket so there really isn’t an excuse to leave it home, but you have to find the right subject to make it shine.

The firmware update Ver.1.10 from Ver.1.00 incorporates the following issues:

  1. Introducing a new PDAF algorithm

New Sony 32MP APS-C IMX342LQA Sensor Leaked

Documents for a new Sony APS-C sensor leaked today that appear to be legitimate. They could be an indication of some of Sony’s next generation APS-C  sensor capabilities to come, but it’s unlikely that this sensor will end up in the Fujifilm X-T3 at this time. A sensor very much like it might though with global shutter and more. We will know more about the upcoming Fujifilm X-T3 very soon and Photokina isn’t very far away so make sure you follow us on FacebookTwitterInstagramYouTube.
