TTArtisan AF 35mm f/1.8 ED II: AmazonB&H Photo

For the everyday shooter, this AF 35mm f/1.8 II Lens from TTArtisan offers the perfect perspective for capturing a little bit of everything. From night-time shooting to portraiture, this prime lens can be relied upon to create strong imagery, even in low-light conditions with its f/1.8 maximum aperture. Immediately noticeable with this second iteration is its smaller form factor which now measures 1.9″ in length. Its minimum focusing distance has been updated from 24″ to 15.7″, which greatly helps capture subjects up close with sharp focus. The lens provides a 52.5mm full-frame equivalence and features a fully metal design for assured durability. Additionally, a newly designed lens hood is included for reducing unwanted light from getting in your frame and for functioning as added protection against impacts to the front of the lens.

  • 52.5mm (Full-Frame Equivalent)
  • Fast Normal-Length Prime

New Fujifilm X-Half Frame Teaser

Fujifilm released a new teaser for the Fujifilm X-Half Frame. It doesn’t really tell us anything new, but the camera is certainly getting closer. I hope Fujifilm can provide cameras to the US at a reasonable price.

“A diptych is an artwork, often a painting or photograph, consisting of two related panels, usually joined together by a hinge. The panels can be closed like a book and, in the past, were often used to protect the interior paintings. Diptychs can be used to create a visual dialogue between the two images, capture a single moment in time, or explore a theme over time.”

“See you on May 22, 2025 @5am GMT!” 1:00 AM EST

Fujifilm dominated MAP Cameras sales in April, taking three of the top ten spots, followed by Nikon with two. It is also interesting that half of the top sellers are fixed lens cameras with Fujifilm doing the best out of them.

MAP Cameras’ take on the X100VI

In second place is the FUIFILM X100VI, which is quite far behind the first place.
As you know, it took the top spot by a large margin in the 2024 annual rankings announced the other day.
Many people may wonder how it managed to achieve such a high ranking given the continued unstable supply situation.
We hope that the manufacturer will create a situation where normal orders can be accepted as soon as possible.

On the GFX100RF

Coming in third is another FUJIFILM model, the GFX 100RF, released on April 10th.
By incorporating a newly developed lens into a body with a 102-megapixel large-format sensor, it has become a completely new lens-integrated camera. It weighs in
at approximately 735g, making it the lightest in the history of the GFX series. The lightest model to date, the GFX 50R, weighs approximately 775g for the body alone, so its small size stands out. This is the birth of a rare medium-format compact camera.

Although it is small and lightweight, there is no compromise in performance or design. The camera’s main body is manufactured using only cutting processing from aluminum, and the lens ring, dials, bottom plate, and other details are precisely machined from aluminum, making this a camera that shows the manufacturer’s attention to detail everywhere.

This camera was also a hot topic even before it was announced.
We received many pre-orders, but unfortunately the initial stock did not reach that number…
It comes in two colors, black and silver, but the black one seems to be especially popular. The black one has sold more than the black one, but there are also more people waiting for it.

On the X-M5

In fifth place is the FUJIFILM X-M5. It has risen from ninth place last time.
We received a large shipment of both black and silver, which is why we got this result.
However, since then, the supply has been unstable. We are currently unable to accept orders.
It is popular enough to be ranked high if there was stock, but I am worried about the future situation.
