Fringer NF-FX II Now Available

The Fringer NF-FX II is now available from B&H Photo and Amazon. Version 2 is an upgrade over the original that adds weather sealing and a smaller size that makes the adapter easier to use with a vertical grip.

CineD: SIRUI Sniper Series f/1.2 AF Lenses For X/E/Z Mount

CineD had a behind-closed-doors interview with SIRUI for a new lens series the SIRUI Sniper series that comes in X/E/Z mount. The lenses will be f/1.2 AF lenses with focal lengths of 23mm, 33mm, and 56mm with two more coming next year.

All of the lenses will take a 58mm front filter thread. They will come in black and white with a white finish that feels and looks like ceramic. They will be very light at around 400g and carbon fiber is used in its construction. The close focus distance of the lenses is 30cm for the 23mm, 40cm for the 33mm, and 60cm for the 56mm.

There is no final pricing at this time for the lenses but the estimated price is around 350 Euros and the lenses will be available in November 2023 individually or as a set. Unfortunately, they are talking about running a crowdfunding campaign for this series on Indigogo, which can be kind of annoying.

Fujifilm Savings Sunday GFX Edition

The Fujifilm GFX100 II has been officially announced so Fujifilm is offering discounts to the Fujifilm GFX100S and GFX50SII, but they stopped discounting the original GFX100. I still prefer the old GFX100 to the new GFX100 II so I will be hanging onto my GFX100 until Fujifilm releases a GFX for me, but I think a lot of GFX100S fans will be upgrading since they found PSAM acceptable.

Capture One Pro just added support for the Fujifilm GFX100 II along with the new Fujinon GF55mm f/1.7, Fujinon GF110mm f/5.6 Tilt Shift, and Fujinon GF30mm f/5.6 Tilt Shift.
