Third Fujifilm Camera Registration Found FF240001 Plus, GFX100S II, GFX25, X-Pro4, X100, and More

A new Fujifilm registration was leaked on Weibo a short time ago so now we have 3 cameras on the way from Fujifilm. The post also makes some interesting statements about there being 4-6 cameras expected in 2024 including the Fujifilm GFX100S II which will be a GFX100II with reduced video functionality. Fujifilm is also expected to release 4-6 cameras in 2024 so it should be an exciting year for fans of Fujifilm cameras.

This isn’t the first time that Sigma has been unable to keep up with demand for the Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN | Contemporary, but I am surprised to see the SIGMA 56mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary is also in short supply. Maybe users prefer Sigma’s new 56mm lens to Fujifilm’s since Fujifilm took away the manual focus clutch.

The Fujinon XF56mm f/1.2 R APD has been discontinued overseas with a few retailers showing low stock.

  • Camera Kitamura: Completed products
  • Map camera: Out of production/in stock
  • Bic Camera: Now on sale
  • Yodobashi Camera: On sale/low stock

In the US we can see that

  • B&H Photo still has stock high enough to not list a stock status beyond in stock
  • Amazon shows 2 lenses left and the retailer is adorama so either this is adorama’s stock or this is the stock that Amazon has left for Adorama
  • Adorama still shows in stock which could be an indication that they have more not listed on Amazon or their website inventory system is out of date
  • Moment has one lens left in stock

So it looks like this lens will be discontinued globally shortly so grab one while you can if you want the creamy bokeh of the Fujinon XF56mm f/1.2 R APD.
