Fujifilm pulled further ahead of Sony’s APS-C flagship camera with the launch of the Fujifilm X-T4 last night. It will be interesting to see how seriously Sony plans to take APS-C cameras since the IM671AQR emerged online the other week and the X-T3 has been selling at a price closer to the Sony a6600.
If Sony is serious about APS-C we could see a professional Sony a7000 camera with the IM671AQR sensor or one like it inside sooner rather than later. The price point of a professional APS-C camera becomes an issue for Sony because if they price a professional APS-C camera around their a7 it could cause week sales or canalization.
