Fujifilm Dominates 2020 World Press Photo Awards


Some do not think Fujiflm cameras make the cut for professional work, but the 2020 World Press Photo Awards were dominated by Fujifilm and Nikon equally with Sony falling far behind and Canon towards the middle of the pack. Further, a Fujifilm X-H1 was used by Yasuyoshi Chuba to capture the above winning image. Below is the break down of the camera brands used.

From the break down it looks like the Fujifilm X100 is by far the most popular camera use among photojournalists and some had multiplied Fujifilm cameras credited according to thephoblographer’s break down.
