Fujifilm GFX100 Finally In Stock and Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster Deals

The Fujifilm GF100 is finally in stock at Adorama and will be soon at B&H Photo and Amazon. Hopefully, Fujifilm will catch up with demand. There are also two very good Mitakon deals for fast G-Mount glass, which I couldn’t resist. I purchased the Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 85mm f/1.2 and below is my first test shot.

Viltrox Announces AF 33mm f/1.4 XF Price

Viltrox posted about their AF 33mm f/1.4 XF on weibo with a price of 1,799 yuan which works out to about $256 USD. Viltrox’s new Fujifilm X-Moun AF lenses should be similarly affordable when they launch soon.

Neopan 100 ACROS II Now Available In Japan and First Comparisons

Fujifilm Neopan 100 ACROS II is now available in Japan and we should see some of it show up on sites like Amazon soon. Until then Amazon still has some leftover original ACROS film for those interested. Both videos show some differentiation in tonality, but the second video shows a slight difference in grain structure and the handling of highlights which is interesting. It looks like Fujifilm did a pretty good job with the new formulation. It should be just as popular as the original.

Viltrox EF-FX Firmware 2.26 Released

Viltrox released a firmware update for the Viltrox EF-FX1/2. You can download Version 2.25 for the Viltrox EF-FX2/1 here.

Canon Zoom LENS EF 16-35 1: 2.8 L II USM on the X-H1 camera shows to turn off the power and restart, the problem has been fixed.
SIGMA 50mm 1: 1.4 the problem that aperture can only to 2.8 has been fixed.
The SIGMA 12-24mm 1: 4.5-5.6 aperture show 1.0 and cannot adjust, it has been fixed.

Newly compatible lenses:
SIGMA 12-24mm 1: 4.5-5.6 II DG HSM
Canon EF 50mm F1.2 L USM (AF-S is supported, but cannot support AF-C at this moment)
Canon EF 85mm F1.2 L USM (AF-S is supported, but cannot support AF-C at this moment)

It has improved focus and aperture stability for other lenses. The problem of black screen and flash screen when checking photos have been resolved.

New Fujifilm X-T3 Holiday Savings Now Include Flashpoint Branded Godox V1

If savings $200 alone isn’t enough to convince photographers to purchase a Fujifilm X-T3 Adorama is now including their Flashpoint Branded Godox V1, which increases the total savings to $439. I added the savings to my Sunday post, but savings this good deserve to be pointed out.
