The Fujifilm X-T30II isn’t much of an improvement over the X-T30, but it looks like Fujifilm tweaked some thermal characteristics about the body to allow it to perform more like an X-T4. The body is also a little lighter and the battery will last a little longer, but I have a feeling this compromise might be the product of chip shortages. Fujifilm might have an easier time getting the parts for the X-T30II than the original X-T30 design. The marketing doesn’t do much to dispel my opinion that this is a stop-gap camera. The Fujifilm X-T30II is just a little more than a glorified firmware update, but just barely.
