Fujifilm X-E4 Prices Are Rising

Fujifilm X-E4:
B&H Photo / Amazon / Moment / Adorama

The Fujifilm X-E4 has been marked as discontinued by retainers for a while and Fujifilm seems to think that entry-level cameras like the X-E4/X-T200 do not have a lot of demand, but now prices are starting to rise. Asobinet reported that prices in China and Japan are about 1.5x the price of a new X-E4 already while US retailers are largely out of stock except for one combo kit on Amazon that is marked up.

If you have a Fujifilm X-E4 there has never been a better time to sell or trade. I personally have never considered the X-E line entry level, but it seems Fujifilm does. In my opinion, the Fujifilm X-E4 is basically a compact X100 without OVF and with the ability to switch lenses. I have always liked the camera and I owned the X-E1, X-E2, and a full spectrum X-E3 over the years alongside my X-T/X-Pro/GFX cameras.
