Fujifilm X-H1: Built Fujifilm Tough and New Fuji X-H1 Videos

After receiving the previous image I found out that it is part of a new series of blog posts Fujifilm is starting to explain what makes the Fujifilm X-H1 special that is starting with “X-H1 Development Story #1 -Frame Pt.1.”

The frame is 125% thicker for X-H1, meaning that the frame has almost doubled in volume (1.25 x 1.25 x 1.25 = 1.95). The strength of the frame is almost twice as strong. – Sums up the article.

Part one doesn’t explain anything new about the Fuji X-H1 beyond giving us a good look inside the X-H1 body and showing us how Fujifilm used “ribs” to reinforce the mount and camera. The article implies that the mount needed reinforcing for lenses like the upcoming XF200F2, because in the near future we will have lenses that weigh more than 2kg. I wonder if Fujifilm will discourage Photographers from using the Fujinon XF 200mm F2 R LM OIS WR on the Fujifilm X-T2.
