Profoto A1 Firmware B2 Released

Profoto hasn’t released a Fujifilm specific A1 yet, but the new A1 works great with the Profoto Air Remote TTL-F. Profoto’s first featured Fujifilm photographer used the A1 and B2 in her work. I hope to pick up some Profoto gear in the near future myself to use in the studio and on location. I am curious how it compares to my Impact setup, which should have a native trigger for Fujifilm soon. Godox also has some great lights right now for a very reasonable price. Options and competition are always good to have.

New in firmware version B2

• New feature: Key lock
• New feature: Flicker-free mode for model light
• New feature: Use model light independent if flash is on/o
• Fixed bug where user could not choose X-Sync
• Changed behavior of “Model” button: short press model light ON/OFF, long press head

ON/OFF
• Changed behavior of “Select” button: long press activates key lock, deactivate by pressing any button and turning select dial • General bug fixes
