Fujifilm GFX 50S vs Nikon D850 Estimated by Photons to Photos

Photons to Photos has a good track record of getting their estimate close to right and being completely independent. To most, it is obvious that the GFX will continue to dominate, but if you need data photons to photos is once again out in front comparing the Fujifilm GFX 50S to the new Nikon D850. The GFX is a dynamic range monster and it is going to be a while before a full frame camera catches it and the GFX doesn’t even have BSI yet. Photons to Photos will continue to improve their estimates as time goes on so keep a close eye on their chart here.

  • Chu Eseka

the DR chart shown for the D850 is for its DX mode so best to wait for the FX chart and up to ISO 64 to form a view

    • Yes it was just the description. I saw your comment before you changed it. This is the Full Frame estimate.
