It looks like there is a retailer closing out their stock of Fuji X10’s on Amazon, which is a very reasonable price for a good grab and go camera that received a DPReview Silver award.
The Fujinon UA107x8.4 (UA107x) broadcast lens we covered earlier this month won a NAB best of show award from TVTechnology. The awards were judged by a panel of engineers and industry experts in the areas of innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in the industry.

The Fuji X mount comparison tool was updated to include almost all of Fuji’s current lenses and they added film simulations. It’s a very well laid out tool to get an approximate idea of what each lens is capable of doing in a set scene and now that they have added film simulation people considering Fuji can better understand how it works.
There have been many discussions about best practices in Lightroom with Fuji cameras over the years, but as support has gotten better the topic has begun to tone down a bit. It is still an evolving topic that many Fuji photographers follow, but you can get good results out of any of the RAW engines available today if you put the time into learning how. Fujilove released a useful guide to help photographers more closely match Fuji JPEGs using the various Lightroom presets provided by Adobe. If you like Fuji JPEGs you should give this guide a thorough read.

Ted Vieria’s been sharing his experience with the X-Pro 2 on YouTube since receiving it around launch and it’s pretty obvious he is loving the camera. In this video he does a great job of explaining how well the new X-Pro 2 handles noise up to 12,800 ISO and he also includes a link with higher resolution samples, since YouTube isn’t the best way to judge noise performance.
