Fujifilm X-T2 4k Video Function

The Fujifilm X-T2 is getting closer to launch and Fujifilm has created another resource to clarify its video abilities. Most of what they have write in their latest Fujifilm-X article has been said before or could be inferred, but one new detail I picked up on was that autofocus was optimized for video. This could mean a variety of things, but the Fujifilm X-Pro 2 already does a good job of maintain focus, so maybe the optimization will add an autofocus pull type function while filming.

Kenko Co., Ltd., sales of LCD protective film that corresponds to the Fujifilm X-T2 “for LCD Protector Fujifilm X-T2”, will start from August 26, 2016. Suggested retail price is 1,300 yen (excluding tax). It looks like accessory makers are preparing for a late August shipment of Fujifilm X-T2 cameras.

Fujifilm Files 1-inch Sensor Patent For 100mm F2

Egami is reporting that Fujifilm filed a patent for a 100mm F2 optical design for a 1-inch sensor, but could this be an example of Fujifilm hiding an APS-C lens in the open. Fujifilm doesn’t have a history of working with 1-inch sensors, but they do have a history misstating the sensor size on optical patent paper work.

“Fujifilm patent application of “corresponding to 1.2 100Mm F2 is an optical system. 1.2″ I will be 270mm by 35mm Leica conversion and use a little bit in a small 1 “sensor from.”

270mm doesn’t sound useful to me…
