Fujifilm X100F in Stock and X100 Roundup

The Fujifilm X100F is currently in stock at B&H Photo and Amazon. I wish I could swing one of these on top of all my GFX spending lately, but it will have to wait. I absolutely loved the original Fujifilm X100 and X100s. I still highly recommend the Fujifilm X100S today, because I feel it was the first perfect Fujifilm X camera.

Fujifilm GFX 50S Reviews, Adapted Glass and LEE Filters

I finally received everything I need to use my LEE Filters 100mm System Deluxe Landscape Starter Kit and I am really enjoying the learning experience. It’s a little different in practice than a lot of the videos and tutorials online, since lighting can be very inconsistent in Florida over a period of seconds, but it’s a lot of fun. I will post some pictures using my filters on 500px soon and when I become more familiar with how to use everything in the kit I will do a brief review about the starter kit, since filters like these are completely new to me. Owning a nice filter kit definitely adds a new dimension to the GFX.

Fujinon GF 23mm f4 R LM WR and 110mm f2 R LM WR April 19th Announcement Confirmed

The April 19th announcement of the Fujinon GF 23mm f4 R LM WR and Fujinon GF 110mm f2 R LM WR has now been publicly confirmed by another reliably source Nokishita for announcement April 19th. We also should have accurate pricing or at least close to considering the prices are from from January 16th, since they came from our source that provided the original GFX price and other past breaking rumors on FujiAddict, which other sites later copied.

  • Fujinon GF 23mm f/4 R LM WR (Mid 2017): $2,599
  • Fujinon GF 45mm f/2.8 R WR (Late 2017): $1,699
  • Fujinon GF 110mm f/2 R LM (Mid 2017): $2799

I am probably going to buy the Fujinon GF 23mm f/4 LM WR initially followed by the GF 110mm f/2 R LM. Both should be excellent lenses for the GFX, but I want to go wide with the GFX. The Instax SQ and Instax SQ10 are also expected to launch on April 19th.

Gramas Extra Glass For Fujifilm GFX 50S

I have been disappointed by a few screen protectors for my Fujifilm GFX 50S already and they were not cheap. Hopefully the Gramas Screen protector will be better than the 3 I have tried so far.

Silver Co., Ltd. will release “Extra Camera Glass DCG-FJ01 FUJIFILM GFX 50S” for April 19th as a new product of GRAMAS brands’ LCD glass protective glass “Extra Camera Glass”. The suggested retail price is 2,500 yen by tax.

Extra Glass is a series that GRAMAS known as smartphone case brand optimized protective glass technology developed for smartphones for digital cameras. Silver one is in charge of supervision of the product.

Using high-grade glass manufactured by Asahi Glass Co., Ltd., which has a surface hardness of 9 H and transparency, it is excellent in wear resistance and impact resistance, and it prevents scratches from being taken in and out of the camera. Moreover, fingerprints and the like are difficult to adhere due to the antifouling coating.

The edges of the glass are subjected to round-edge processing by hand, taking safety into consideration.

GFX 50S is a medium-sized mirrorless camera equipped with a CMOS sensor with 51.40 million pixels effective at 43.8 x 32.9 mm. Adopt a new G mount. Release is February. The actual price of only the body is around 800,000 yen including tax.”

Fujifilm GFX 50S Firmware Update 1.01

The firmware update Ver.1.01 from Ver.1.00 incorporates the following issues:

  • 1.The phenomenon is fixed that in some cases the actual saturation of the EVF display is not changed even if the setting of the EVF COLOR in SCREEN SET-UP is changed. It occurs especially after EVF display is changed to LCD and then back to EVF.
