The Fujifilm GFX 50S is a great camera with great glass and anyone that has ever handled on is left wanting one. This is very typical of medium format cameras, but the system has been around a while now and adoption seems to be going quite well. Some photographers demand additional AF performance, but it is not really necessary especially when you compare it to similar cameras like the Hasselblad X1D. Future GFX cameras like the Fujifilm GFX 100S will likely be even faster, but for now, the Fujifilm GFX 50S is snappy enough and maybe we will see a little more AF performance out of the Fujifilm GFX 50R that is expected later this year.
