Skylum (formerly Macphun) is continuing to update their software aggressively for Windows and OSX. They currently support most Fujifilm X cameras, but we are still waiting for Fujifilm X-E3 support. On January 19, Fujifilm Imaging Systems Co., Ltd. announced the renewal of the lensed film “Fujicolor Photographs Simple Ace”. 39 shots will be shipped in March. For 27 shots, prices will be revised after March (a price increase of about 30% at the company’s shipping price) and renewal of the package design will be done. There is no change in product specifications.
In the new package, the logo of “Picture of a picture” is displayed large in front of the package, and the body design is changed to one based on the original design of Fake Lunes. With this, the product lineup of the Picture Frame is a total of 2 models, “Fujicolor Funkara Takeshima Simple Ace 27 Pictures taken” and “Fuji Color Prune is New Water Proof”.
It looks like Amazon already has the new design here and here. Along with the old and new price point. Grab them while you can if you enjoy disposable cameras.

The Fujifilm X-A series is being updated by Fujifilm and we have known about this for a while here and here. The Fujifilm X-A5 will be updated the be more like the current Fujifilm cameras, while the Fujifilm X-A20 will continue with a 16MP chip. Both cameras should be coming soon.

Fringer and Steelsring adapters are going to be the same price at $299, but Steelsring only comes in one configuration without an aperture ring. Steelsring also hasn’t released their lens compatibility list or any sample images yet. You can see the features below and purchase a Steelsring adapter here.
The Fujifilm GFX 50S + 63mm kit now includes a battery grip and additional battery at the same price from B&H Photo. This is probably one of the best starter kits offered yet at significant savings to you. Fujifilm has big plans for the GFX after they announce the Fujifilm X-H1 next month and I expect Fujifilm to continue the speedy roll out of their amazing medium format glass. By the time Sony entrees medium format Fujifilm will have a very mature system with multiple bodies and full support from all the venters you would want.
If you’re thinking about waiting for the Fujifilm GFX 100S I would caution against it, because your overall investment could be quite larger than buying in now and upgrading later when the GFX 100S body eventually goes on sale. Unfortunately, the glass sale has ended and might not return in a similar state in the future, but there are still savings to be had. Some learned this the hard way by skipping the past X-Mount lens sales and expecting them to continue in perpetuity. I for one saved enough on X-Mount glass when buying all the glass I did during the old X-mount sales to almost cover my GFX purchase.
