Steelsring EF/FX AF Smart Adapter Now Available

Fringer and Steelsring adapters are going to be the same price at $299, but Steelsring only comes in one configuration without an aperture ring. Steelsring also hasn’t released their lens compatibility list or any sample images yet. You can see the features below and purchase a Steelsring adapter here.

Features:

  1. The built-in lens database includes around 400 EF mount lenses information from Canon, Sigma, Tamron, Tokina, Cosina, and others, make sure accurate EXIF recording in your shootings.
  2. Support EF and EF-s mount AF lenses and MF lenses, both USM and STM lenses, but factory tests are limited to Canon and Sigma lenses only.
  3. Support PDAF and CBAF, AF performance is under consistent tuning and improvement, it is firmware updatable.
  4. Lens aperture is controllable through FUJI camera body’s command dial
  5. Support Image Stabilization of EF and EF-s lenses.
  6. MF lenses with no electronic pins contact is mountable, but no EXIF info will be recorded.
  7. Detachable Arca-Swiss quick load plate for Tripod mounting
  8. Built-in USB port for firmware update by customer itself.
