Fujifilm X-A5 and X-A20 Owner’s Manuals Available and Shipping Update

The Fujifilm X-A5 is shipping from  B&H PhotoAmazon, and Adorama at this time and already almost completely out of stock at some retailers. If you’re interested in the Fujinon XC 15-45 grabbing an X-A5 is honestly the better option than waiting until March for the XC 15-45, because you get a pretty good body for $200 more. Just remember XC lenses are a step below XF lenses so if you do not have high expectations for this lens beyond functionality than you should be pleasantly surprised by its performance.

The Fujifilm X-E3 is Incredible

Ted Forbes is now a proud Fujifilm X-E3 owner after demoing the X-T2 and X-Pro2 last year. His path to Fujifilm is an interesting one that I have followed as a regular viewer of his channel and I’m kind of surprised he didn’t go Fujifilm X-Pro2 since he wants to use his new camera primarily for street/candid photos. Ted’s title the that Fujifilm X-E3 is incredible isn’t an exaggeration though because there aren’t any cameras currently on the market that can compete with it for the price.

I have no doubt Ted will get hooked and become a FujiAddict yet considering his logic. He started paying attention to Fujifilm because of the ergonomics and attention given to the user experience and design. This, of course, led to him falling for Fujifilm’s amazing lenses and unique X-Trans sensor, which most Fujifilm photographers love.

Things Ted Liked

  1. Great glass
  2. Very Customizable
  3. Under $1,000
  4. No frills X-Pro2
  5. Slightly better AF than X-Pro2
  6. Small/Compact/Easy to carry around
  7. Very Accurate AF
  8. Lots of buttons
  9. Aperture Ring
  10. X-Trans amazing and get a ton of resolution even for an APS-C size sensor
  11. T on shutter dial that lets you expose for multiple minutes with a preview
  12. Electronic Shutter can be assigned to a button
  13. Fujifilm provides different designs for different photographers instead of just protecting their top of the line cameras

Dislikes

  1. Swipe modes
  2. Needs the optional grip

There is a lot to like about Fujifilm cameras and new X Photographers like Ted will like their cameras all whole lot more when they get that new camera feel a second or even third-time thanks to Fujifilm’s great firmware updates.
