The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 200mm f/2 R LM OIS WR is Fujifilm’s first professional long lens and it is getting high marks from reviewers. I hope to get my hands on one for some project in the future and I might even consider buying one if the price comes down a little, but I simply can’t justify the full price at this time, but the inclusion of a high-quality XF1.4 TC certainly makes the price a little easier to swallow.

Fujifilm X-T3 HDR (Hybrid Log Gamma) Demo

Fujifilm released a simulated video demonstrating the advantages of Hybrid Log Gamma when recording video with the Fujifilm X-T3. HDR technology is very interesting and it offers some definite advantages, but some of the images from their demo look very underexposed. Below you can see some screen grabs from the above video.

The Fujinon GF100-200mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR is now available for preorder at B&H Photo / Amazon / Adorama. Fujifilm hasn’t made a bad lens for the GFX yet and their prices keep getting better and better. I really hope they can keep the new Fujinon GF 50mm f/3.5 LM WR that should be coming next under $1,500.

I personally like Meike handgrips more than OEM ones, because of their build quality and price point. Meike builds some very functional and inexpensive accessories if you have never given them a try. Also, Fujifilm X-T3 savings are ending soon so don’t miss out.

Fujifilm Fujinon GF100-200mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR Size Comparison and Preorders Start at 12pm

Camera Size now has the Fujinon GF100-200mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR in its comparison tool. I put together some comparisons with it for you guys, but if you want to make your own you can do so here. I think the Sony and Nikon 70-200 f/4 lenses are the most interesting to compare to the GF100-200mm since they have similar rage and speeds.

The Fujinon GF100-200mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR is also very well priced compared to other similar lenses so it should be popular for photographers that like to use their GFX for everything. It will be even more useful and interesting when the Fujifilm GFX100 comes out. Hopefully, the IBS and lens OIS will work together to give us over 5 stops of stabilization.
