Viltrox Square Lens Hoods Coming Soon

Viltrox launched a new metal square hood for its lenses that it sells directly and should be available at B&H Photo and Amazon soon.

“Viltrox square hood is a bayonet-mounted lens hood that fits only Viltrox 23mm 33mm 56mm series lenses. The square lens hood is better protecting the sensor from unwanted sun flare. Compatible with Viltrox 23mm/33mm/56mm f/1.4 series lenses (XF/E/Z/M). Filter size: 52mm.

Fujinon XF18mm f/1.4 R LM WR Squeaky Toy?

A Overman posted on the DPR forums a short video of his XF18mm making an odd squeaky sound that makes my German Shepard come running every time I play the video. Hopefully, this is a one-off issue, and Overman states that the lens still works fine even with the annoying noise. Has anyone else experienced this or a similar issue with their X-Mount lenses?

Welcome to FUJIFILM Europe’s New HQ
We still cannot believe that we officially inaugurated our new FUJIFILM Europe Headquarters at last week’s official opening event. Leaving our old HQ in Düsseldorf, Germany for our new home in Ratingen, Germany.

On June 12, 2022, our NEW FUJIFILM Europe Headquarters in Ratingen, Germany was officially inaugurated by Teiichi Goto, President & CEO of FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation. We had the honor to welcome three special guests to this event: Teiichi Goto, President & CEO of FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation, Mona Neubaur, Deputy Prime Minister, North Rhine-Westphalia and Mayor Klaus Pesch, City of Ratingen. Additionally, everyone was excited to finally see our new office space, our brand-new showrooms and of course, our new Open Innovation Hub.
