Iridient Developer 4.0 and Irident Transformer 3.0 Released With X-S20 Support

Iridient Developer 4.0 update now available!
This update adds support for many new RAW models, bug fixes and other improvements.

New RAW camera support includes:
Canon: EOS R8, EOS R50 and EOS R100.
Nikon: Z 8.
Sony: A6700, ZV-E1 and ZV-1 Mark II.
Fujifilm: X-S20.
Leica: Q3 and M11 Monochrom.
Pentax: K-3 Mark III Monochrome and KF.
Samsung: S23 series.
Google: Pixel 7a.
DJI: Air 3, Inspire 3, Mavic 3 Pro and the Osmo Action series.

X-Transformer, C-Transformer, N-Transformer, S-Transformer and O-Transformer 3.0 updates released!
These Iridient Transformer releases feature several new features including support for custom camera color profiles, enhanced command line and scripting (macOS) support for specifying presets, updates to many critical external software libraries, bug fixes and support for the lastest new RAW camera models.

New RAW camera support includes:
C-Transformer: Canon EOS R8, EOS R50 and EOS R100.
N-Transformer: Nikon Z8.
S-Transformer: Sony A6700, ZV-E1 and ZV-1 Mark II.
X-Transformer: X-S20.

Fujifilm GFX100 II Medium Format Camera Rumor

Photorumors published a Fujifilm GFX100II rumor. If accurate I am curious to see how many GFX100 owners upgrade and I really hope they decide to match the dials of the GFX50S, which is still the best GFX camera I have ever used. Honestly I may upgrade from my GFX100 if they do bring back the dials from the GFX50S, but if they make the camera similar to the GFX100S then I will wait for the next generation.

  • 102 MP BSI CMOS 43.8 x 32.9mm sensor (new and improved)
  • Video: 8k, 4k60p, 10 bit 4:2:2, ProRes internal recording
  • CFExpress Type B and SD memory cards
  • Improved AF
  • 8 stops IBIS
  • Removable battery grip
  • Compatible with external cooling
  • 9.4m dot tilt and detachable EVF
  • Announcement on September 12

Fujifilm is also expected to announce three new lenses together with the GFX100 II on September 12:

We also received a rumor a while ago about a GFX50RII but we haven’t heard anything since which is disappointing. I really hope Fujifilm makes a SLR style and Rangefinder style medium format camera going forward.

Sabrent V2 CFExpress B Pro Cards

Sabrent is known for providing high-speed flash storage and while the first-generation cards flew under the radar many photographers looking for CFExpress B deals came across them and have verified that they work in Fujifilm cameras even though they haven’t been officially listed yet.

From what I have been told generation one cards can handle all but the highest resolution video recording modes on the Fujifilm X-H2 line of cameras. I am hopeful that generation two cards will be able to handle the increased demands for video users but I haven’t found any information about them yet.
