This is the calm before the storm of posts this week as photographers get their hands on the Fujifilm X-H1 for the first time as it begins shipping March 1st and already people are getting excited at the variety of touch and try events that Fujifilm is hosting all over the world. Some are even trying to do some very limited, but informative testing.
I was going to hold off on doing roundups until launch, but there were quite a few little me too articles floating around that I wanted to make sure you guys didn’t miss for completion sake as well as some sample photos and footage. It seems like the hype is all over the place on the Fujifilm X-H1, but there is almost no negative press out there beyond a few grump DSLR people watching their format of choice die from afar because a lot of DSLR shooters seem to love the new Fuji X-H1 design. Fujifilm has come a long way with the X system since the X100/XPro1 and I can’t wait for the Fujifilm X-T3 later this year along with the Fujifilm GFX100S. My bank account is going to cry again soon enough.
