FUJIFILM Corporation (headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoshikazu Goto) will release the instax ™ “Cheki” *1 analog instant camera “instax WIDE 400 ™ ” (hereinafter “WIDE 400”) on July 19, 2024.
The “WIDE 400” is the successor to the “instax WIDE 300 ™ ” released in 2014, and is an analog instant camera that supports “wide format film” that is twice the size of card-sized mini format film. In addition to simple operation that just requires rotating the lens, turning the power on, holding the camera and pressing the shutter button, the new self-timer makes it easy to take group shots and other things, making wide-format Instax prints even more enjoyable.
In addition, a camera case that matches the color of the “WIDE 400” body will also be released at the same time.

2. Main features of the “instax WIDE 400 ™ “
(1) Analog instant camera compatible with wide-format film
- A simply designed analog instant camera compatible with wide-format film. All you have to do is turn the lens, turn the power on, hold the camera and press the shutter button to enjoy shooting.
- After turning the lens to turn it on, turning it in the same direction will switch to landscape mode, allowing you to take clear pictures of distant subjects from more than 3m away. In addition, by attaching the included close-up lens, you can get as close as 40cm away to take close-up pictures of the subject.
(2) Equipped with a lever-operated self-timer for an analog feel
The front of the camera is equipped with a lever-operated self-timer. When you turn the lever, the LEDs light up in sequence, and you can set the self-timer to up to 10 seconds.
