TOKYO, May 16, 2024 – FUJIFILM Corporation (President and CEO, Representative Director: Teiichi Goto) announces the launch of the FUJINON Lens XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR (XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR). The new lens joins the extensive lineup of interchangeable XF lenses designed for the X Series of mirrorless digital cameras, which are renowned for their compact and lightweight design and outstanding image quality delivered with Fujifilm’s proprietary color reproduction technology.

The XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR is a standard zoom lens that covers a focal length range from wide-angle 16mm (equivalent to 24mm in 35mm format) to medium telephoto 50mm (equivalent to 76mm in 35mm format). It combines high resolution performance compatible with 40.2 million pixels X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR※1 sensor throughout the entire zoom range and the lightest※2 weight of approximately 240g among XF lenses for a zoom lens. Furthermore, it offers high-speed and high-precision autofocus, magnification of 0.3x at the telephoto end (equivalent to magnification of 0.45x in 35mm format), and a weather resistant and -10°C low-temperature resistant structure, allowing for versatile use in a wide range of scenes.
