Sirui launched its IndieGoGo / Dedicated Website last week and they have now announced a release date of November 24 for the sniper series of lenses. I hope these lenses are well received because f/1.4 has been the standard for a fast lens for a very long time now. In the past Chinese optics were pretty lackluster, but in recent years Chinese manufacturers have moved the bar for Western optics companies to produce better lenses at more affordable prices and I hope Sirui can continue the trend.
