- Chris likes the traditional SLR controls
- X-S20 is a good value
- Buttons are similar to the X-S10 but the feel of all the buttons feels a little stiff, better, pronounced
- You can customize the buttons however you want
- The grip is a little wider to fit the new battery which is a huge upgrade providing about 700 CIPA shots per charge
- Mic/headphone jack
- Robust mode dial
- Has a pop-up flash
- Looks large but is quite lightweight at 481g with a battery
- The 26MP Fujifilm sensor with new processing power is a great combo
- Great color and dynamic range
- 7 stop IBIS
- Very competitive price
- 3″ 1.84M dot LCD rear screen fully articulating
- 2.34M dot EVF could be higher but many other cameras use the same EVF
- The film simulation is great to add punch
- Single card slot
- 8fps for over 80 shots is pretty good for burst
- JPEG’s have no limit at 8fps
- The sensor has a little rolling shutter
- Subject detection has been added but Chris doesn’t like that face/eye detection is in a different menu
- Full Auto has automatic subject detection
- Subject detection is quite good
- Fujifilm has improved its AF over the years
- Video is majority upgraded
- 4k60p and video RAW via HDMI and external recorder can be done
- New FLog2 gives you more dynamic range
- There is a vlog mode on the dial
- Can be a little jerky while recording and panning
- Indoors at room temp recording a 6.2k 30p will record for 34min which is the most demanding mode while 4k 60p can record for 36min
- You can record over 2hrs with 4k 24p
- If you need to record longer you can get the Fujifilm fan to cool the camera
- Fujifilm X-S20 is a very well-rounded camera and it can do just about anything
