Thank you for your continued patronage of Cosina products.

Today, Cosina will release the MACRO APO-ULTRON 35mm F2 interchangeable lens for Fujifilm X mount in August 2022.

We will inform you once the official release date is decided.

Voigtlander MACRO APO-ULTRON 35mm f/2
The MACRO APO-ULTRON 35mm F2 X mount is a standard macro lens with a large aperture designed exclusively for the Fujifilm X mount. The lens configuration uses the latest optical system that uses 3 abnormally dispersed glasses out of 9 elements in 6 groups. In addition to the natural color development without color bleeding due to the apochromat design, it has a compact style with an open F value of F2, which is unusually large for a macro lens.

Designed exclusively for Fujifilm X mount
Equipped with an optical system optimized for the image sensor of the Fujifilm X system camera. Phenomena such as distortion, dimming, and color cast in the peripheral area of the image are suppressed without depending on the optical correction function of the camera.

Information communication with the body by electronic contacts
Equipped with electronic contacts to realize highly reliable telecommunications between the lens and body. By combining a body that supports telecommunications and the latest firmware (* 1), in addition to Exif information, focus check, and shooting distance interlocking display, certain models also support in-body image stabilization and parallax correction.

Manual focus for reliable focus operation
By adopting an all-metal helicoid unit processed and adjusted with high precision and high-quality grease that produces appropriate torque, focusing with a smooth operation feeling is realized. It enables fine focus adjustment.

Beautiful bokeh with 10 diaphragm blades
A 10-blade diaphragm is used to make the holes formed by the diaphragm blades closer to a circle. The out-of-focus part has a natural depiction, and the point light source is not a polygon but a round and soft bokeh.

Aperture ring for direct mechanical connection
As with the Voigtlander VM mount and mirrorless mount lenses, the aperture ring uses a mechanism in which the aperture ring is directly connected to the opening and closing of the aperture blades. With a 1/3 step click, you can enjoy the feeling of operating the mechanism directly.

Maximum shooting magnification 1: 2
The shortest shooting distance is 0.163m. A front focus method is used to adjust the focus by moving 6 elements in the front 4 groups back and forth. While it is possible to shorten the elongation compared to the method of extending the entire optical system, high image quality is guaranteed in the entire area from a long distance to a close area.

Apochromat design
In order to support the current digital sensor with high pixel count, axial chromatic aberration and chromatic aberration of magnification are thoroughly suppressed.

* 1 Precautions regarding a body that supports telecommunications
This product is equipped with electronic contacts, but there are restrictions on the body that can perform telecommunications. Please check the body list below. (Investigated in February 2022)
