I previously posted a multi-slot GFX100 comparison along with the original files in this post. I have since uploaded a super-resolution shot to the album which you can view here. Only the pictures with the car in them are complete, but it is interesting to pixel peeping around the image. I have noticed a few worm-type artifacts in the super-resolution image that are not there in the single or multishot image, but the quality is quite good. The images is huge so you can spend a ton of time looking around.
Also of note for some reason, I could not get Adobe Photoshop to export the image in a way that it could be imported into lightroom without going to tiff. The file size would swell to 1.5gb but the image would still import at standard resolution until I saved it to tiff. As for how long it took to do… My 2013 Mac Pro took over 5 minutes while my Macbook Pro M1 took 30 seconds. The Apple M1 continues to show its value to photographers as programs start to utilize the Apple M1’s Neural Engines. I hope to do more testing and comparisons soon.
