ePhotozine: Fujifilm XF 50mm f/1 R WR Impresses And It Comes Highly Recommended

It looks like has an exceptional lens on its hands with the new Fujifilm XF 50mm f/1 R WR, which is still in short supply. I am personally quite happy with the XF56mm f/1.2 so I doubt I will pick one up, but it is a very good option if you do not own an XF56mm and would like weather resistance and the latest optical formulation from Fujifilm.

“It performs really well, right in the top tier, it is designed specifically to offer something special for the portrait photographer, although not exclusively so by any means. It has weather resistance. It is fast for use in low light situations. Focusing is razor accurate. It is an absolute joy to use on the Fujifilm X-T4. It is an exciting lens to use, and has the aforementioned “pixie dust” magic ingredient.” – ePhotozine
