DPR: Fujifilm X-A7 Review – The Best Entry-Level Mirrorless ILC That Fujifilm Has Released

DPR finished their review of the Fujifilm X-A7 and it received a silver award in their short review published today. You can read the full review here or just check out the conclusion below.

“Our early impressions of the X-A7 were overwhelmingly positive and now that we’ve spent time shooting with a production model of the camera we are happy to say that this is in fact the best entry-level mirrorless ILC that Fujifilm has released. This is enough to make it one of the stand-out cameras in its class. Although having the option of an EVF accessory would have been nice, the LCD is large and bright making it perfectly capable for capturing friends and family.

The new sensor inside the camera helps deliver best-in-class video and, combined with an updated processor, substantial improvements to face and eye detection autofocus.”

I have personally been recommending the Fujifilm X-A7 to friends looking to get into photography lately and all of them have loved it as a step up over their camera phone. Cameras like the Fujifilm X-A7 are very useful in the fight against smartphones and I wish we could get more cameras like it in people’s hands to see the difference between using a camera phone and a camera designed for photography and video.
