Fujinon Premista Cine Lens Craftsmanship

Fujifilm seems to be very proud of their technical achievements in recent months. The Fujifilm GFX100 and Premista are two extremely well-received innovations that others can’t compete with yet. They even released a short film a few weeks ago with a behind the scenes to demonstrate the cinematic characteristics of the Premista which we covered here.

Today Fujifilm followed up with the above video giving us a quick look inside the Inspecting, Coating, Cementing, Painting, Grinding, Assembling, and Optical Adjustment process along with a few statements from employees. Fujifilm believes the new Premista lenses will rival the best of primes throughout its zoom range and they go through great lengths to ensure consistency each lens performs at exactly the same level.
