Cinema5D interviewed the head product planner for the Fujifilm X-T and X-H cameras about the new firmware update that is coming in December. Below are some excerpts:
- X-T3 sales are pretty good compared to X-T2/X-H1 sales
- Fujifilm’s impression is that 80% of users are still photographers in 20% record video
- 4 gig file size limitation is being removed in the new firmware update
- Hyrbird log gamma recording
- Easy shooting 4K HDR that’s like using film simulation so it won’t need much editing
- Recording to HDMI and SD card update
- Currently, you record F-Log or film simulation to both
- Now you can independently record F-Log and/or film simulation
- So you can record HDMI F-Log and SD Card Film Simulation if you want
- X-H1 now has hybrid image stabilization that uses IBIS and optical image stabilization together
