Fujifilm X-H1: ETERNA For Astrophotography

https://www.instagram.com/p/BgbWRhSnoDh/

Over the weekend I took the Fujifilm X-H1 out to the Everglades to shoot some astrophotography and ETERNA was a great film simulation for the task. ETERNA allowed a lot of latitude for recovering detail and color from the otherwise dull looking Milky Way. I also shot some Astrophotography on my beach, but you can just barely see the Milky Way and I need to try it again with my NISI Natural Light filter. If want to see some high-resolution examples from the weekend I posted them to 500px and might post some more over the coming days.

I love Astrophotography season and should be shooting every new moon through September so if you want to get into astrophotography join our AstrophotographyAddict group for tips and pointers. This group is more specialized than our owner’s groups, but our ever-expanding community of photographers can be very helpful for those looking to pick up new skills or if you’re looking to learn about your camera.
