Lightroom Alternative: RAW Power For iOS Overview

DPReview published an overview of RAW Power for iOS after some blogs ignored its original release or miss reported it as old software when FujiAddict reported it, but the software is finally getting the attention it deserves. As one of the few alternatives available with an OSX and iOS application, RAW Power is uniquely positioned to replace Lightroom, especially for those that have a mixed tradition/mobile workflow. I have been juggling a lot of RAW editors and will be adding more to my list in the near future for a huge comparison.

While I really like apps like ON1 and Luminar 2018 I wish they had iOS components to compete with Adobe. So far none of the apps that I have used across platforms works entirely like I would expect and the SD Card reader for iPad could be more intuitive, but a work anywhere workflow is definitely the future of photograph, plus camera phones keep getting better and they even shoot RAW now. Building your solution to work across platforms form the start is just smart and RAW Power probably has the best implementation of this philosophy yet.
