2017 is Going To Be A Great Year For Fujifilm Fans

The Photofocus podcast interviewed Zack Arias the other day and he had a lot to say about why he stopped using DSLR’s and medium format photography, plus he gave a some perspective on the GFX. 2017 is going to be a great year for Fujifilm fans with the GFX 50S, X100F and Fujinon XF 50 F2 R WR all right around the corner. There should be lots of announcements this month so stay tuned.

Also if you are a fan of Damien Lovegrove he is hosting a workshop in Manhattan on March 1st, 2017. There are only 3 spots available so you will get a lot of 1:1 time with Mr. Lovegrove, which is an incredible opportunity. I wish I could justify the trip myself. You can get details and sign up here.

Really? I doubt 2017 will be a better year than the previous years for fuji F I L M Fans !
is Fuji going to stop killing its (our) films? is it going to revive films like the incredible provia 400X? Is it going to help preserve true Medium Format or instead push its new digital flagship wanna be Medium format?
What about the irony the photo of Zack Arias with a true 6×9 Fujifilm MediumFormat (120) camera… Tell us Zack, is the difference between a 43.8×32.9 sensor and a 6×9 film frame “negligible”… inevitable for sure, but sad.
