Fujifilm GFX 50S: Reviews, Fotodiox, and AF-C Performance

Daniel put together a very good Fujifilm GFX 50S video review that accurately represents the general performance of the GFX and even provided some new sample files for people to play with here. I must say of the three launch lenses the 63mm f/2.8 is the strangest because of how it hunts, but I think Fujifilm will tune this lens to perfection over the coming year. It’s a great lens and it’s really hard to pick between it and the 32-64mm f/4, but ill have to decided before my 30 days are up.

Surprisingly Fotodiox is now producing Fujifilm GFX 50S videos too. They are the first to release adapters, but Kipon, among many others, will follow soon. I’ll likely get a set of these to test once they are perfected. I would love to test some of the larger medium format lens for cameras like Mamiya.

Fujifilm Türkiye has a AF-C video that is representitive of AF-C performance at this time using the 32-64mm lens zoomed. I will likely try all 3 lenses this weekend at the Florida Renaissance Festival during the joust if I can get close enough to use them.

Digidirect also released their GFX video today, which is pretty standard. Nothing really new to see, but there are some example images.
