DPReview X-Pro 2 Sample Video and Initial Impressions

Fuji Film X Series 5th Anniversary Event

Fuji Film posted a recording of the X series launch event on their Corporate channel in two parts the other day. It is bit long, but I find their claim about the X-T1 having resolution between 24-36MP throughout the ISO range and the X-Pro 2 resolving beyond 36MP interesting. Part 1

The Fuji X-Pro 2 Delayed Until March‽

It looks like demand for the X-Pro 2 has been so strong that Fuji chose to postpone the launch of their next generation flagship camera until March so they can ramp up production. You can read more here.

FujiFilm X-T1 Firmware 4.30 is Now Available! So is the X-E2 Firmware 4.00! UPDATED

The Fuji X-T1 firmware scheduled for release tomorrow has been released early. Version 4.30 address the bugs that were found in 4.20. It can be downloaded here. The Fuji X-E2 firmware 4.00 is available here.

24MP and Beyond: Why Fuji Caught Up Just in Time and Will Have to Embrace the Mega Pixel War

When I read articles or forum posts that are against increases in megapixels, like I have recently about the Fuji X-Pro 2, it makes me seriously question the background of the person making the claim and whether they understand the direction technology is heading.
