New Addict Photography Facebook Groups

We are launching two new photography groups beyond out Fujifilm Camera groups for users interested specifically in Astrophotography and Instagram on Facebook.

Astrophotography Addict
Instagram Addict

These groups will be great places for sharing your work with our entire photography community and to get quick responses about how to deal with issues like polar alignment or maybe even to form astrophotography meetups. I am also considering using these groups for sharing photos on the website if users are interested in additional exposure. Our existing Fujifilm Groups will continue to run as usual because these groups are designed for camera specific collaboration more than sharing, but that can change if users wish.

Fujifilm GFX Owners Group
Fujifilm X-T Owners Group
Fujifilm X-Pro Owners Group
Fujifilm X-E Owners Group
Fujifilm X-A Owners Group
Fujifilm X100 Owners Group

The new groups aren’t Fujifilm exclusive so feel free to invite anyone that might be interested in joining. We are also affiliated with other camera groups that you can find linked at the top of all of our groups on facebook if your interest in joining more of our no nonsense groups.

Beyond our groups and pages please follow Fujiaddict on Facebook and Twitter so we can reach you directly with the latest and greatest Fujifilm specific news. The groups aren’t for news, but I will post highly relevant news in them from time to time.

Godox V860IIF, TT685F, and X1T-F Tutorial For Fujifilm

Robert Hall released another excellent video on Godox flashes that helps clarify a lot of the differences between the TT685F and V860IIF. It also goes into some detail about radio control and how it complements the on camera lighting controls for those interested. Godox has pushed Nissin to the side in recent months and I hope Nissin refreshes their flashes soon with some user updatable options. It’s simply not acceptable to produce electronics that need to be shipped in for firmware updates in 2017.

Godox V860IIF: B&H Photo / Amazon

Fujifilm Launches a Medium-Term Management Plan, VISION2019

Vision 2019 Photography Goals

  • With regard to the “INSTAX” instant camera and film, expand the sales of existing products and promote its square-format products for greater proliferation. Expand printing service solutions with added convenience, e.g. incorporating AI, to boost printing demand from smartphones to maintain the upward trend in profits.
  • In digital cameras, work toward capturing No.1 market share in the premium mirrorless camera market, promoting the X Series that continues to evolve with outstanding image quality, fast speed and mobility, alongside the medium-format GFX Series that uses a large sensor, 1.7 times bigger than that of full-frame cameras, to pursue the pinnacle of image quality.
  • Reinforce the lineup of its highly reputable interchangeable lenses to continue to achieve increased revenues and profits in the mirrorless system business as a whole.
  • Broaden the lens business by expanding the lineup of 4K broadcast lenses, launched ahead of the rest of the world, as well as the lineup of lenses for the fast-growing new video production market, including online video.
