Adobe added native support for tethering several Fujifilm cameras. Below are the details about how to set up your camera and software. If you need more information, you can check out Adobe’s website here.

Prerequisites for tether capture with Fujifilm cameras

Before you begin tether capture with your Fujifilm camera, ensure that the following settings are as follows:

    • Set the ISO to C – command

Set up and start Tethered Capture

Sigma Corporation Announces the Versatile, Professional-Grade 17-40mm F1.8 DC | Art Lens, Pushing the Boundaries for Both Photography and Video
Ronkonkoma, NY, June 17, 2025 – Sigma Corporation of America, the US subsidiary of Sigma Corporation (CEO: Kazuto Yamaki. Headquarters: Asao-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa, Japan), is pleased to introduce the 17-40mm F1.8 DC | Art, the first Art lens for APS-C format since 2016, and the very first made exclusively for crop sensor mirrorless cameras.

This remarkable new lens is the direct successor to the groundbreaking 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM | Art for DSLR cameras, offering the user a wider angle of view as well as more versatility at the telephoto end. With an updated optical design, it delivers the image quality and brightness of a prime lens, along with the versatility of a zoom. This fast, flexible lens is also designed with video shooting in mind, featuring an inner zoomhigh-speed and silent linear autofocus, and minimal focus breathing, as well as a dust and splash-resistant structure for use in virtually any environment.

Significantly lighter than its predecessor, the 17-40mm F1.8 DC | Art lens weighs only 535g (18.9 oz.) and is stacked with features that will appeal to photographers, filmmakers and content creators alike, no matter what camera system it is paired with.

The Sigma 17-40mm F1.8 DC | Art lens will be available in mid-July at authorized Sigma dealers for Sony E-mount, L-Mount, Fujifilm X Mount, and Canon RF Mount for a retail price of $919 USD. Read More »

Fujifilm X Half Status Changed to Back Ordered – Another Unobtainium Camera?

Fujifilm X-Half Frame:
B&H Photo / Amazon (Silver / Charcoal / Black) / ShopMoment / Adorama

I checked my Fujifilm X Half preorder to see if there were any updates to the status, and it has changed to backordered, which is odd because the camera should ship tomorrow. I am still unsure if I want to keep my preorder, but it seems there were a ton of preorders on launch night. So far, only Amazon has closed orders for Silver and Charcoal, but it is still taking orders for Black, while other retailers are still taking orders for all three.

I hope my readers receive their preorders, and I will probably cancel so that one of you will get a camera a little earlier in favor of buying a camera later, like I did with my X100VI. Hopefully, the X Half isn’t another oversold Fujifilm camera that is impossible to obtain, because I do think it will bring some fun back to photography for a select few, but I have a feeling many experienced photographers will find the lack of RAW and other restrictions more annoying than liberating. Canceling my order wouldn’t even cross my mind if the Fujifilm X-Half shot a RAW file alongside JPEG film simulation for backup and reinterpritation.
