New Fujifilm FF200003 Registered Overseas

Nokishita leaked the FujifilmLogoLarge which was registered overseas. Fujifilm still has the X-E line to refresh and the X-T line is a bit up in the air with the X-S kind of being what an X-T40 could have/should have been. There are also some entry-level cameras that could be refreshed, but I think this will be the Fujifilm X-E4 or an even longer shot a GFX 50 update.

Fujifilm’s unreleased digital camera “FF200003” has been registered with an overseas certification body. Equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. (X-S10 is FF200001)

It looks like has an exceptional lens on its hands with the new Fujifilm XF 50mm f/1 R WR, which is still in short supply. I am personally quite happy with the XF56mm f/1.2 so I doubt I will pick one up, but it is a very good option if you do not own an XF56mm and would like weather resistance and the latest optical formulation from Fujifilm.

It has weather resistance. It is fast for use in low light situations. Focusing is razor accurate. It is an absolute joy to use on the Fujifilm X-T4. Fujifilm IBIS Compared X-H1, X-T4, and X-S10 On The New X Lab #5

Fujifilm released their latest X Lab episode which is in Japanese. I watched the video and did a few grabs (Which you can see below) but the transcript for YouTube isn’t very useful so I will summarize what the video is about.

Fujifilm has been making rapid progress miniaturizing its IBIS technology which first showed up in X cameras with the X-H1, which was followed by the GFX100. These two cameras gave Fujifilm the experience to develop IBIS for the X-T4 and now Fujifilm has shrunk its IBIS technology 30% more for the Fujifilm X-S10, which also has improved wiring and power efficiency.
